  1. Attend a Safe Conversations® workshop (one day)
  2. Attend Safe Conversations Leadership Training Program (2-day)
  3. Schedule Your first Safe Conversations Workshop within 30 days of completing Leadership Training (one day)

Trainer/Facilitators are certified to assist couples, families, friends and colleagues using unique and proven facilitative processes, focusing on Zero Negativity and “the Space Between” — essential elements for thriving, healthy relationships. The goal of the program: to exponentially increase the number of workshops and individuals served, and perpetuate a cadre of knowledgeable, engaged leaders to ensure the organization’s long term success.

Who can participate?

Safe Conversations® Leadership Training provides rich content, tools and facilitation skills needed to lead workshops and facilitate practice in formal and informal settings. Pre-requisites for becoming a trainer is completion of a Safe Conversations workshop. If you have not attended previously, we will schedule a workshop for you at the time of program registration.

Do you have a deep commitment to helping others create safe, healthy and joyful relationships? That’s what inspires every Safe Conversations leader.

To support the movement and build an exciting, thriving, sustainable relational culture all over the world, Relationships First™ founders Dr. Harville Hendrix and Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt created The Leader Training Program. Designed to equip community leaders, the interactive process provides the tools and skills to teach Safe Conversations® in diverse formats to take back to their communities, schools, companies and places of worship.

Safe Conversations Leadership Training Program is a year-round campaign, poised to equip over 36,000 people with the safe conversations technology.

“Being a Facilitator of the Safe Conversations workshop has been the most fulfilling work I’ve ever done. There is no greater privilege than helping two people connect more fully and love more deeply. When you see them truly connecting, perhaps for the first time ever, with happy tears and joyful hugs, it changes YOUR life as much as theirs. And you get to do it every time you lead a workshop!”
